About me

From an early age I knew that I always wanted to work with children.

Having attended the London Montessori Teacher Training College, where I completed and attained my Montessori combined NNEB foundation Diploma and also completed the Montessori Teaching Diploma (key stage 1).

I then went on to become a Maternity Nurse and being a part of those early days in a newborns life really was quite special. I spent several years travelling and working as a Maternity Nurse nationally (UK) and Internationally (USA, Spain and Switzerland) meeting and working for some wonderful families along the way.

In 1999 I came back to the UK and started a Montessori teaching position at a private school in Woolton, Liverpool; as well as continuing to work as a Maternity Nurse. In September 2000, when I gave birth to my first child, I left my teaching position and put my heart and mind into developing my Sleeptight Maternity service; and I’ve been doing this since.

Over the years, I have worked with many families including some very high profile ones, gaining extensive experience in tailoring my services to their particular needs. I also offer Maternity Nursing and Breast Feeding mentoring as part of my Sleeptight Maternity services.
